With the inventions and advancement in the technology, the race is getting harder and tighter day by day. But at the end who wins the race depends on the readers’ choice. We are still in the transition phase and soon eBooks will take over books. But, be it a book or an eBook a fervent bibliophile will enjoy reading in any form.

With new inventions and advancement in the technology every day, the race is getting harder and tighter day by day. In this digital age virtual is replacing real. It’s very hard these days to find children lying beside their granny and listening to bed time stories. Online audios and videos have replaced them. The next round of battle begins now. The race is now between books and eBooks and the question is who will win the race?
There are certainly ample of factors to consider when discussing the transition for books to eBooks but ultimately it is the readers’ choice that wins the race. A fervent fan of book confirms that nothing can get away with the fragrance of paper and the rustle of the pages as the reader browse through the pages of the book. The warmth that one can feel holding a book gives a different experience that the cold eBooks couldn’t offer.
There are certain questions that really pop up like: what aspects of books will survive the transition to eBooks and what aspects won’t? How are these changes going to affect the future of reading and writing? Advanced technology is the answer and it succeeds as it is beneficial.
Technology has changed our habits. It takes over gradually before one can realise the change in oneself. Do we really remember when exactly did we stop writing letters and switched to emails? It is going to be the same with eBooks.  The transition is not going to be immediate. We cannot even realise when we stop buying books and start ordering eBooks from online bookstore or an ebook store. A technological shift is essential and should evaluate the existing features of the old and how best we can transfer them to the new. Book Hungama, is an eBook portal where one can buy, rent, read and publish books in any language. For first time users, once you register, you are offered with 3 free eBooks and if you want to rent an eBook you can do that for just Re. 1/day or you can opt for a 30 day package. Isn’t it exciting? A slavish imitation of the old to the new is actually the best idea. At this moment we are in the transition phase and soon eBooks will replace books completely. But, be it a book or an eBook a fervent bibliophile will enjoy reading in any form.
