A typical cat food is processed and comes in a box, packet or can. Try finding your dog beef, if he doesn't like it then try chicken. It can be confusing but I guess if you can remember the fundamentals: Cats are Carnivores.
Higher quality dog food is found at smaller independent stores. Along with providing necessary nutrients, a natural dog food diet containing raw food is beneficial in other ways.
