P Force Fort 150 mg contains sildenafil, which is used to treat ed. It's essential to be cautious when using sildenafil, as it can interact with certain medications commonly used to treat kidney conditions. Medications such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, and isosorbide mononitrate, commonly used to treat angina (chest pain) in people with heart disease or hypertension, can interact dangerously with sildenafil. Combining sildenafil with nitrates can lead to a severe drop in blood pressure, which can be life-threatening. Drugs like doxazosin, terazosin, and tamsulosin, often prescribed for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or hypertension, can also lower blood pressure. Combining alpha-blockers with sildenafil can increase the risk of hypotension (low blood pressure) and dizziness. Some medications used to treat high blood pressure, such as calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers, and ACE inhibitors, can interact with sildenafil and cause a further decrease in blood pressure. Since sildenafil is metabolized by the liver, medications that affect liver enzymes, such as certain antibiotics, antifungals, and HIV medications, can potentially interact with sildenafil and affect its metabolism and effectiveness.
